My path to this work began in a way I never could have imagined.
In my twenties, I faced sudden, life-threatening heart failure and was told I wouldn’t survive. I’d always been strong — played sport, rarely unwell, the type of person who assumed health was a given.
Overnight, everything changed. Doctors told me that my lifespan was most likely limited, and that I should prepare for a different future than the one I had imagined.
What followed were years of rebuilding, physically, emotionally and spiritually. There were more challenges than I could have anticipated: breast cancer, fatigue, and a series of health crises that shook me to my core. But in those years, something profound began to shift. I stopped fighting my body and started listening to it. I began to understand that illness wasn’t punishment — it was communication. It was my body’s way of asking for attention, rest and healing.
From that initial illness everything changed — the way I lived, the way I worked, and the way I saw health. It inspired me to start again, to leave behind the old definitions of success, and to dedicate my life to understanding what true healing looks like.
Today I am now not only well but thriving — and the proud mother of three healthy children, including twins. The fact that I could have children and well children, reminds me of the body’s remarkable ability to restore, renew, and even create life, especially after everything that I had been through.
My lived experience is what shapes every part of my work. I know what it feels like to lose trust in your body, to be told “there’s nothing more that can be done,” and to wonder if you’ll ever feel like yourself again. But I also know the extraordinary transformation that can happen when we work with the body — when we nourish it, listen to it, and give it space to heal.
Alongside that personal journey, I hold a Bachelor of Health Science (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Advanced Diplomas in Naturopathy, further qualifications from the Institute of Functional Medicine (USA), and a Bachelor of Economics (previous blip). I’ve trained with some of the world’s leading fertility-focused naturopathic educators, and I continue to learn from both science and the natural world.
This blend of knowledge and in fact, my lived experience - allows me to meet women not just as a practitioner, but as someone who’s walked the long road of recovery and found her way back.
My work is really about helping women remember what’s already within them — the deep knowing, the ability to heal and honestly - our inherent survival instinct!
It's now my joy to bring clarity, compassion and healing to those who come to me. Let me help you find your road back.
